ARCHITECTURAL INTERN
I am Alessia Plummer (she/her). I am Táchii’nii (Red Running into the Water) born for Tódich’ii’nii (Bitter Water). My maternal grandfather’s clan is Hashk’aahadzohí (Yucca Fruit Strung in a Line) and my paternal grandfather’s clan is Bit’ahnii (Folded Arms Within His Cover). I am from Coyote Canyon, NM.
I received my associate’s degree in construction technology at the University of New Mexico-Gallup Campus and received a B.S. in architecture at the University of New Mexico-Main. I am currently pursuing a M.S. in architecture at the University of New Mexico-Main. Living on the Navajo Reservation sparked my interest in pursuing education and giving back to the community, with a focus on sustainability and energy efficient building structures. My hobbies include reading mystery novels, baking, playing video games, basketball, and long-distance running.
