SAMANTHA EDDY

STUDENT DESIGN FELLOW

Samantha (she/her) is a Diné researcher/designer from Utah and currently based in Cambridge, MA. Experiencing the urban fabric disparities between the city and reservation has led to her interest in using architecture as a tool to strengthen her Diné community. Her work is at the intersections of architecture, community engagement, and intergenerational knowledge. She works with Nááts'íilid Initiative on various projects to support their sweat equity home model that aims to strengthen cultural identity and economic stability within Diné Bikéyah.

She received her B.S. in Architectural Studies and Minor in American Indian Studies from the University of Utah, and is currently pursuing a Master of Architecture from MIT.
